Thanks for pointing this out Ravindranath Kondda ji. It was 30 years ago. I was spending a lot of time at UC Berkeley working on a project. It was at this time, I struck a friendship with George Hart, Prof and Tamil Chair at the Department of South Asian Studies. He introduced me to the library and their vast collection of books on Indian history. The title of the book caught my attention and then I started reading it. I was impressed by the thoroughness of his coverage of various castes and tribes,!and then was really surprised to see he had also written about our people!
